I do believe in the personal developmental power of play and joyful interaction while also convinced that personal\u00a0development can be fostered with varied tools and methods, even their talent can be revealed in a natural and spontaneous way.<\/p>\n
After graduating as kindergarten teacher specialised in German language, started to work in a German nationality kindergarten in Budapest. My experience was that early childhood is an extremely sensitive and valuable period concerning learning foreign languages that results in self-confidence in language usage and also provides a solid basis to build on in the future.<\/p>\n
It was in 1998 when the time came to follow my dream of founding a bilingual kindergarten in 16th district, realising the capacity problems kindergartens faced due to higher birth-rate. The bilingual program was implemented in small groups, utilising modern developmental tools and methods providing bilingual environment for the children.<\/p>\n
A long time has passed since then, and there is no doubt that Brumi became an integrated part of me. I am very proud of my colleagues adoring kids and being devoted to their profession \u2013 they ensure the exceptional level of professional work and the cosy atmosphere with their personality and competences. Continuous education, training, knowledge sharing, self-development is highly encouraged within Brumi.<\/p>\n
Besides the bilingual education, other methods are integrated into our program such as Chess playground program or Movement note.<\/p>\n
I hope that our devotion to children and commitment to professional guidelines would win those parents\u2019 and kids\u2019 trust who visit Brumi for the first time and when looking back to their years spent with us would recall such lovely and pleasant memories like our former students do.<\/p>\n

Besides joyful playing, several other activities are part of everyday life such as storytelling, singing, poetry, rhymes, developmental games, sport and activities involving movement. All our groups are bilingual therefore children are motivated to use English language and develop naturally. Our aim is that by the end of the preschool age children communicate actively with the vocabulary learned in Brumi kindergarten.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In April 1995, the predecessor of the kindergarten started as a German-language child care institute, where we implemented a German nationality program.<\/p>\n
In 1998 we received the kindergarten certification first in the 16th district, and since then we have been operating in the form of private kindergarten. Our range of services has grown over time, in line with the extending knowledge of pedagogy and related sciences, our practical experiences and the changing needs.<\/p>\n
Since 2011 we have been operating as an English – Hungarian bilingual kindergarten. We use as a pioneer the bilingual pedagogical programme in practice among the private schools of Pest.<\/p>\n
In May 2017, Brumi Ovi was the first to receive the title of “Chess Playground Special Reference Kindergarten” from Judit Polg\u00e1r. We were entitled to this honour by being an active participant in the launch of the program since March 2014. We tested the program in our groups and enriched it with our experience and ideas.<\/p>\n
